I read the reviews on this page but decided to order this book anyway because Lori Wick is one of my favorite authors. I wasn't disapointed as the others were. I felt the questions that the first chapters rose were answerd in such a way that it taught the reader about how people sometimes deal and heal from tragic events. This book should't be veiwed as just a love story but a demonstration on how God can bring a family through greif, staying right beside them in a very dark hour. Thank-you, Lori for always seeking to teach us through your novels.
I love how this book wasn't all about romance. That it weaved in and out of the family members, taking uoi through the struggles and boys of daily life
Loved this book. Takes place at the end of WWII and gave me a picture of what life was like then. I cried and laughed with the characters in the story. Such a moving story with God's love and guidance all through it. I love Lori Wicks books. She always tells a wonderful and captivating story with God's love in it.
This book has many examples of God's wisdom and plans for our lives. Many times I've heard people talk about "coincidences"; but we often forget that someone is guiding us everyday. God takes those moments of "coincidences", and turns them into last miracles. Lori Wick has a beautiful gift of reminding me of Glory, wisdom, and most of all, his never-failing l

This book was so totally sappy sweet and unrealistic, but I still enjoyed it. I guess something light and fluffy was what I needed right now.
But wow, these people? I've been a Christian and in good Godly churches for forty years and people like these simply don't exist. It was a fun, easy and quick read and a good break from more serious reads.
Every Storm is a great story about love, loss, and finding the strength to live on. Set in the time of WWII, this Christian love story show the heart and love of the Archer family. Just another great by Lori Wick.
I really enjoy all of Lori's books, but I think this has to be my VERY VERY favorite!! Not sure if that is because of the Navy relationship (Dad was stationed at Pearl during WWII) or what. But it is great. It has several different stories going at one time, though not overpoweringly so (if that makes sense!) She shows life... with all of it's joys and disappointments and how we can overcome them with God's help!! It's just a GREAT BOOK!!!
